Recent Brookwood Varsity News
Brookwood's Annual Aloha Bash was, once a gain, a lot of fun and a great day of volleyball. The final score were:
- Brookwood vs Jackson County: 1-2 (25,14, 20-25, 11-15)
- Brookwood vs. Locust Grove: 2-0 (26-24, 25-19)
- Brookwood vs. West Oak: 2-0 (25-18, 25-10)
- Brookwood vs. LCA: 2-0 (25-16, 27-25)
Our leaders for the tournament were as follows: Hannah Sanders with 20 kills & 8 blocks; Kate Phelan had 19 kills, 32 digs & 9 aces; Sarah Sanders had 22 kills, 21 digs, & 7 aces; Kenna Fortingo with 11 kills & 7 blocks; Keira Robinson had 43 assists & 6 digs; Rebecca Miranda with 31 assists, 15 digs & 2 aces; and Natasha Kravis had 20 digs & 3 aces.
Brookwood swept, once again, and added three victories to their schedule on Thursday August 25 at a Quad match at Lanier High School.
The Broncos defeated Duluth 25-16, 25-10, topped Seckinger 25-20, 25-13 and beat Lanier 25-19, 25-19.
Brookwood’s top individual performers were Hannah Sanders (22 kills, five blocks), Sarah Sanders (12 kills, eight digs), Kate Phelan (14 kills, six aces, four blocks), Kenna Fortingo (10 kills, four blocks), Rebecca Miranda (26 assists, 12 digs, two blocks), Keira Robinson (38 assists, 11 digs) and Natasha Kravis (16 digs, three aces).
Brookwood Varsity went 2-0 with victories over Dacula (25-16, 25-23) and Collins Hill (25-15, 25-20).
